Our staff begins each year with four weeks of professional development in the summer because we believe our students deserve an excellent staff, and we know that excellence is the result of practice, iteration, and never being satisfied with our last effort.

7:17 AM STAFF HUDDLE

Teacher work time is blocked- you'll either teach in the morning, with your preps in the afternoon, or have over two hours of planning time in the morning, with afternoon classes.

11:30 - LUNCH

Students eat in their classroom. Family style meals are a time to build relationships and healthy eating habits.

Half our team teaches all morning, the other half all afternoon. If you taught in the morning, your afternoon is more than two hours of planning time- for grading, feedback, content team, and coaching.

4:00 DISMISSAL

On Fridays school ends at 1PM

Each year, you'll have 75 additional days to teach your students, compared to NYC District Schools
