You are invited to participate in the first-ever Creo College Prep Career Day!
In our school, we have professional dancers, Shakespearean actors, violin players, book reviewers- and those are just the things our students already do. If you love what you do, where you went to school, or want to meet the most interesting 5th graders in NYC (we're a little biased), we hope you can join us.
In order for our students to work hard, solve problems, and create the future, it is critical for them to learn about diverse and exciting career and educational paths.
Individual presentations will be 15 minutes long. Possible formats include: engaging stories, related school subjects, education/training, personal skills, typical day, student-friendly games and presentations, hands on activities or visuals, etc. Please keep in mind that these are middle school students who are better engaged by visuals, stories, and interactive activities than by lecture.
After individual presentations, participants and students will engage in “Mini Speed Group Interviews” where students will have prepared questions and you will have the opportunity to share successes and challenges that you have experienced in your career.
